2025 marked a big year for Creactive Design. With a new office and workshop, we felt it was the perfect time to refresh our brand to reflect how much we’ve grown.
Working closely with the team at Milk Bar Studios we’ve developed a fresh visual identity – from logo to icons, we’ve modernised our style to make a unified and cohesive identity that better represents who we are today and where we’re heading.
In this article, we’ll take you through what’s changed.
The Process
When we initially set out to rebrand, we knew we wanted a fresh and distinctive style, something that reflected the three-dimensional nature of our work while also capturing the creativity that drives everything we do in our projects.
We kicked things off with a briefing session with Milk Bar Studios, where we talked through who we are, what we stand for, and where we’re heading. These early conversations helped shape a clear direction and got everyone aligned from the start.
From there, the first concepts began to take shape. We explored a wide range of ideas, some inspired by geometric forms found in engineering, others more abstract and expressive, highlighting the creative side of our work.

While there were plenty of strong contenders, one concept really stood out. We honed in on that idea and continued to refine it, developing the icon into what you see today. Here, you can see a few of the iterations that brought the new brand to life:

The Result
Logo
The new logo consists of the graphic ‘orb’ and the text component. The rippled sphere gives a sense of movement and feel dimensional, even in flat formats. We’ve also kept the emboldened ‘active’ from our previous brand, a nod to where we’ve come from.

Colours
We’ve introduced a bold new primary colour: bright orange. It’s energetic, eye-catching, and pairs perfectly with our supporting palette of black, white, and grey. We’ve also developed a strong set of secondary colours that complement the core palette but are distinctive enough to stand on their own.

Icons
Our new icon library is designed to be clean, consistent, and easy to understand. Built on a custom grid, the icons are used across digital platforms, printed materials, and in our workspace. They help us share information clearly and visually, without barriers.

3D Element
As was important during the development phase, a 3D version of the logo was designed to work alongside the brand.

Brand Book
To keep everything cohesive, we’ve developed a brand book that guides how our style is used across all mediums. It ensures consistency in our tone, visuals, and presentation; helping us stay recognisable and communicate more clearly.

The Future
We’re really proud of our new identity. It feels like us: creative, confident, and forward-thinking. With a new space and a fresh look, we’re excited for what’s ahead and how we’ll continue to grow.
